MAAMESS is the member of EURASCO (The European
Federation of Agricultural Exhibitions and Show Organisers)
and it has been entered in the list of major European fairs
with similar orientation. Previous MAAMESS 2006 extended and
grew in numbers. The rise of visitors and participants among
Estonians and also foreigners gives new challenges for organizers
and participants, to help MAAMESS 2007 to become a significant
fair in Europe.
MAAMESS 2007, which introduces different
aspects of rural economy, is the most recognised rural fair
in the Baltic States. Rural fair provides the best opportunity
to bring together various groups of people connected with
rural economy farmers and foresters, manufacturers and vendors
of professional equipment, wood-processing companies, manufacturers
of farm products and products attributed quality labels of
EPKK (Estonian Chamber of Agriculture and Commerce), persons
involved in alternative farming, gardeners and people interested
in landscaping, consumers, etc.
Similar to previous fairs we provide the
visitors with information concerning modern agricultural,
forest and wood-processing machinery, plant production and
animal husbandry, animal breeding, gardening and food.
The organisers will ensure plenty of activity and exploring
for all visitors. This year the fair includes a new feature
the show of telescopic handlers.
We shall also continue our old traditions:
· stand-competition of felling and lopping at the venue
of fair;
· demonstration of timber technique;
· introduction of Estonian farm food;
· exhibition of breeding animals;
· demonstration and tasting of various food products;
· introduction of gardening tools, seeds and plants.
We believe that the visitors of MAAMESS will
find this event to be profitable and enjoyable, providing
excitement, practical knowledge and joy of exploring.
